Hi! Hello, I just wanted to talk about Christine, and how much I’ve come to adore her. She’s come to hold a very special place in my heart for infinite reasons, but I will refrain to talking about just three. First of all her kindness, her need to help little ballerinas even when the threat of her abuser constantly hovers over her, the compassion she shows to the Phantom, by loving him when no one else would, simply how much she tries and help everyone in the story. Be it Raoul, Madame Valerius, Erik, or anyone. Her strength is also something I am in awe of every single day, this girl has been poor all her life, worked for everything she has. Even when her father died, she didn’t allow grief to overcome her, even though she lost both her parents before she was even an adult. And when the Phantom comes in, manipulating her emotionally and scarring her for life, she does not give in. She is strong, level-headed, and compassionate no matter how much this man and the world have hurt her. And lastly, lastly, she survived. This is very important to me, you see, because we all go through many struggles in life where we don’t think we’re going to make it. Christine was faced with so much hardship and pain at such a young and tender age, I have no doubt the idea of giving up crossed her mind to time, that she often felt depressed. But in the end, this girl escapes her abuser, comes to accept her past, and, we all hope, has a bright future full of happiness. And in all the stories I’ve heard, all the characters I’ve loved, her’s is the one that gives me the most hope for myself and everyone around me.
THIS MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY!! So I’m gonna post it publicly so I can look back on it, ok? Thank you so much, it makes me feel really rad when I know my art’s made someone feel a lil’ better!
his shoulders straightened and his entire frame once more exuded the mysterious strength and power that I had sensed last night
Hullo, lovely members of the Phandom! I’ve noticed a lot of negativity going round lately, and have decided to counteract that. This blog is dedicated to spreading positivity; visitors may send in comments or compliments they wish to see published. Tell your favourite…
Though I much prefer the catch/carry to leaving Christine lying on the floor, I love this dramatic post Mirror Bride reveal shot of Thomas Schulze and Colby Thomas.
